I would like to thank all those who have supported me since my heart sugrery. I am now taking time out to recover.

The surgical team - for carrying out such a fantastic job with my mitral valve repair.
The ICU team - for looking after me so well following the surgery, you helped to put me at ease when I needed it the most.
The nurses & HCA's - for looking after me when I got back to the ward.

My name is Ben and my family originates from sunny Malta. We are very friendly and out going (and occasionally mad, expect for me I am completely bonkers). My parents moved to the UK in 1971. We have been living in Surrey since 1981. I work for a local charity. I have a passion for photography and trains (at the same time).
My mum Maggie 'house wife/secretary' , family accountant and keen tennis player.
My dad René is radiological consultant for various hospitals in Surrey. Enjoys cars and antiques.
